Capital Campaign Fully Underway

Our long-awaited parish capital campaign is now fully underway.  The weekend of March 1-2 will be our in-pew appeal weekend, when all parishioners will have the opportunity to pledge toward the campaign.

As of the end of February, more than $200,000 has been pledged by approximately 25 parishioners, toward our $500,000 goal!  Thanks for all the wonderful generosity displayed so far.  We’re on the way to reaching goals to begin work on the parking lot, roof, sound system and heating/air-conditioning.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need to make a 10% down payment on my pledge?

No, however the more parish has in down payments, the faster parish leadership can make decisions and get approvals to start the work. If you decide not to make a down payment, the payment will roll into your monthly payments.

2. Is my pledge commitment in addition to my weekly offertory?

Yes, your weekly offertory cover the operational cost of the parish, where as your pledge commitment will pay for the capital projects such as the roof, parking lot, and air conditioning.

3. When will payments begin on my pledge?

Payments on the pledges will begin in June/ July of 2025. The active phase of the campaign will finish up before Easter. Payment reminders will be mailed out monthly, quarterly, or annually, based on the donor’s intent.

We cannot emphasize enough the concept of Equal Sacrifice Not Equal Giving. This means that not everybody can make the same size gift, but they can make the same size sacrifice through prayer, consideration, and reflection.
