Lent begins Wednesday, Feb. 14 with the commemoration of Ash Wednesday.
Parishioners are invited to participate more actively in their Christian practice during this season, and more frequent participation in our daily and Sunday liturgical life is always welcome.
Additionally, it is recommended to choose a spiritual book to read during the season. These books will be blessed at Masses on the 1st Sunday of Lent.
Holy Week begins Sunday, March 24 with the celebration of Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion. The Easter Triduum begins Thursday, March 28 with the 7pm Mass of the Lord’s Supper, followed by Night Prayer at 10pm. For Good Friday, we have Morning Prayer at 7am and the Service of the Lord’s Passion at 3pm, with Stations of the Cross at 7pm. On Holy Saturday, we offer Morning Prayer at 7am and the great Easter Vigil at 8pm.
Easter Sunday is March 31, and we will have our regular Mass schedule, with the addition of a 6:30am dawn Mass in our parish cemetery on Foothill Rd in Bridgewater.
